Membership

Become a member of our church
The church board has come together in prayer and received membership criteria that are in line with Living Church Ministries, Inc. Since we have friends from all around the globe, this membership is open to everyone, no matter how close you live to the physical location of the church in the USA. If you feel that this is something you would like to be a part of, we would be honored to have you as an officially recognized member of our church!

Note! You can be a member of more than one church i.e. America, Canada, Australia and/or Europe, which is 20 dollars/euros annually per church membership.

Ministers and Ministers in Training
All Ministers and Ministers in Training are required to be members of the church, and so all participants in the Ministerial program will automatically be granted membership for one year.

Volunteers/Retreatants
Volunteers/retreatants who visit the Monastery for 30 days or more will be offered a complimentary one year membership (membership will be renewable annually by paying the $20 membership dues after the first year).

Benefits
The real benefits are purely spiritual through involvement with the church. However, membership also includes:

- 10% discount on all published materials
- 10% discount on retreats
- Regular church e-newsletter with announcements of church services and celebratory events

Requirements
To become a member of our church you are:

- In agreement with our Statement of Faith
- In an ongoing relationship with the church
- Signing up for an annual membership fee of 20 USD per year*

*This fee helps support the basic administration costs and services of the membership

The 2 Steps to Membership

Step 1 of 2 – Read our Statement of Faith

God
We believe that God is Love, and His will is all there is. The Holy Trinity appears as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, in truth they are one, in truth there is only God.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus was a man who saw the face of Christ in all his brothers; he identified as Christ and remembered God. He overcame death; and therefore resurrection has been accomplished. Jesus is the leader in the Plan of the Atonement and all power in Heaven and earth is therefore given him. In remembering Jesus we are remembering God, and giving thanks for all God-given gifts.

The Holy Spirit
We believe Jesus is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Voice for God, and is part of God, being in communion with Him always. The Holy Spirit is the Answer to the belief in separation from God, and He is a Guide to lead us from fear back to the Kingdom of Heaven. The outcome of listening to and following the Holy Spirit is always peace, love, happiness, freedom, & joy. There need not be any exceptions to trusting Inner Guidance and living a life of integrity, honesty and harmony.

Forgiveness
We believe that the curriculum of forgiveness is necessary for everyone, and these teachings are found in the Scriptures. Forgiveness leads from the belief in sin to seeing the Face of Christ. Perceiving sinlessness leads to holiness, which returns the mind to God. Acknowledging Christ in all our brothers, we recognize His Presence in ourselves. Forgiveness turns the world of sin into a simple world, a world of glory.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is our only function, and that salvation and forgiveness are the same. Salvation is for the mind and it is attained through peace. Salvation is the Holy Spirit's task, He is the only Guide that can lead to salvation. Salvation is the return to innocence, the relinquishment of judgment and guilt.

Divine Providence
We believe that trust would settle every problem now. Trust in the Holy Spirit & Christ is the means Given by God to Answer every seeming problem that arises in perception. Participants in the ministry are always referred and directed to the Voice for God within and toward the recognition that God is the Creator & Source & Provider.

The Church
We believe that the living church is the holy home where God abides. The foundation of the church is built upon we who are devoted disciples of Christ. The presence of an altar is what makes the church holy, therefore the purpose of the church is to inspire love.

Teachers and Ministers of God
We believe that trust is the foundation upon which all Ministers and Teachers of God rest, therefore their ability to function depends upon it. Gods Teachers and Ministers are faithful. They know there is no will but Gods. They know their only purpose is to share the message of Christ; to let the Voice for God speak through them. They have learned to relinquish judgment, to overlook error, and to be simple because they have learned that the truth needs no defense. They know that they are created by God; therefore their state of mind is open, honest, gentle, peaceful and joyful.

Agreement

Step 2 of 2 – Agreement & Payment

Here are the three membership requirements of Living Church Ministries Inc.

- You have read and are in an agreement with our Statement of Faith (see above)

- You are in agreement with having an ongoing relationship with Living Church Ministries via i.e. the newsletter that you will receive automatically after having registered as a member with us or coming to our scheduled events

- You are in agreement with paying the recurring fee of 20 USD per year, and continue doing this as long as you want to stay as a member of Living Church Ministries

If you are in an agreement with these three membership requirements, you confirm this via paying the membership fee.

Subscription
By clicking on the appropriate “Subscribe” button (see below) you go through the secure online payment process that we have set up via Pay Pal. This subscription means the following:

- You will have a recurring payment of 20 USD for your membership per year

- The recurring payment will be done automatically each year through Pay Pal’s online services

- Pay Pal will let you know the exact date of your next payment

- You need to sign up for an account with Pay Pal (for free) since they will be the service that will help you paying the membership fee to us each year

- You can either pay via Pay Pal’s account or via your credit card information that you give to Pay Pal

- If you want to cancel your subscription, you do this via your Pay Pal account, and thereby cancel your membership of Living Church Ministries

Cancellation
If you want to cancel your membership after you have paid the 20 USD fee, you can do so at any time, but no refund will be made for an already paid amount. To cancel your membership, log in to your account on Pay Pal and go to your Profile, click “My Money”, click “Update” next to “My preapproved payments”, click “Living Church Ministries”, and choose “Cancel” under the Subscription details. This will cancel any future payments via Pay Pal that would renew your membership with Living Church Ministries. By following this procedure, you are automatically removed as a member of Living Church Ministries Inc., but we recommend and appreciate it if you send an e-mail to laverne@livingchurchministries.org to let us know about your cancellation as well. Thank you!

Newsletter

Living Church Ministries has a newsletter that is sent out to members periodically. This is a very easy way for you to stay connected with us and be updated on what’s happening in our ministry. When your payment has been approved by Pay Pal, we will send you an e-mail. This will happen as soon as we are able to add your name and e-mail address to our newsletter mailing list.

Confirmation

Once you have paid, via the “Subscribe” button below and have gone through the full payment process, your payment will be confirmed via an e-mail from Pay Pal with a receipt of the paid 20 USD (or the equivalent amount if you are paying from another country outside of the USA). When this receipt has been sent to you, you officially become a member of our Living Church Ministries!
