"I first heard "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims when my friend Jason suggested we rewrite the lyrics for me to perform live at our upcoming Festival. At first I wasn't sure I could pull it off, but as I opened to the possibility, it ended up taking me on a deep personal journey. At the time, I was going through an intense experience of feeling like I was losing control—letting go of how I thought things should be, especially in my relationship with music. Our new lyrics echo a teaching from ACIM about the disorientation that comes when God's Love comes closer in awareness and we are Called to release our ego’s old frame of reference.
